How re-conditioning works

1

Inspect & quote

Every tool is inspected and quoted before any work begins — no surprises.

2

Regrind to spec

All cutting edges — ends, OD, and radii — are reground with chip removal, restored to RobbJack grinds and specifications.

3

Recoat (optional)

Re-apply the right coating in-house — from uncoated to AlTiN, TiCN, TiN, diamond-coated, or DLC.

4

Back to work

Your tools return performing like new — at a fraction of the cost of buying new.

Standard regrinds reduce the diameter by no more than 10% below original to clean up damaged areas, so the tool comes back true and to size.

Coatings & recoating

Greener by the grind

Tools too far gone to save? We'll return them marked “no work done,” or enter them into our carbide-recycle program for a 10% credit on your next regrinding order — part of how we run as a certified green manufacturer.
