Terms & Conditions

The terms governing your purchases from RobbJack and your use of this site.

Effective June 30, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of robbjack.com (the “Site”) and your purchase of products from RobbJack Corporation (“RobbJack,” “we,” “us”). By using the Site, submitting an order or request, or purchasing products, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Site or buying on behalf of a company, you represent that you are authorized to bind that company.

We may update these Terms from time to time; the version in effect when you place an order governs that order. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

2. Use of the Site

The Site is provided for informational, application-support, and ordering purposes. Specifications, pricing, availability, and content may change without notice. You agree not to:

  • Use the Site or its tools in any unlawful way or in violation of these Terms;
  • Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download catalog data, or access the Site through automated means except for standard search-engine indexing;
  • Interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its APIs, or any account or data; or
  • Reverse-engineer, resell, or misrepresent the Site, its tools, or its content.

3. Machining data, calculators & the AI advisor

Speeds and feeds, tool recommendations, the AI advisor, cross-reference results, CAD/DXF/STEP files, and other machining data on the Site are starting points and references based on typical conditions. They are provided “as is,” without warranty of accuracy or fitness for any particular setup.

You are solely responsible for verifying all parameters on your own machine, fixturing, toolholding, and material, and for safe operation. RobbJack is not liable for results, scrap, damage, or injury arising from reliance on this data. Always begin with conservative parameters and adjust.

4. Pricing & product information

Prices are in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. Retail prices shown on the Site apply to direct purchases. Distributor pricing, lead times, and account terms are set by your authorized RobbJack distributor.

We strive for accuracy, but the Site may contain typographical errors or inaccuracies in pricing, specifications, or availability. We reserve the right to correct any error and to cancel or refuse any order placed at an incorrect price, even after an order is submitted; if your payment has been charged for a canceled order, we will issue a refund.

The minimum invoice amount is $50.00. Standard account terms are 1% 10, Net 30 days for approved accounts.

5. Orders & online purchases

Your submission of an order is an offer to purchase. An order is accepted only when we confirm and/or ship it; we may decline or cancel any order at our discretion. Online payments are processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe); RobbJack does not receive or store your full card details. Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout.

You are responsible for providing accurate account, shipping, and payment information, and for any duties, taxes, or charges applicable to your order or location.

6. Shipping & delivery

All shipments are F.O.B. Lincoln, California, USA, via UPS Ground unless otherwise specified, and are invoiced at current standard rates. RobbJack ships Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) with a 3:00 PM PST order cut-off. International duties and taxes are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Goods are considered sold, and RobbJack’s responsibility ceases, when delivery is made to the transportation company. Shipments are automatically covered only up to the carrier’s default maximum liability (typically $100.00 per shipment) unless additional insurance is requested at the time the order is placed. The customer remains responsible for payment of all shipped items regardless of carrier loss or damage.

Damage claims must be made directly against the carrier. RobbJack will assist with documentation as needed but is not liable beyond the coverage selected at the time of shipment. Product returns are invoiced at standard shipping rates. Shipping terms may be canceled or modified at any time.

7. Customer responsibility for specifications

The customer is solely responsible for the accuracy of all specifications, drawings, part numbers, tool selections, and application details provided to RobbJack. RobbJack is not liable for costs, delays, scrap, or damages resulting from:

  • Incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer;
  • Improper tool application; or
  • Use of tools outside recommended parameters.

8. Special, made-to-order & modified tools

Orders for special tools, non-catalog items, or modified tools are sold on a no-cancellation basis and are not returnable. A confirming purchase order is required before work begins.

  • For quantities over 10 pieces, a ±10% over- or under-shipment is acceptable based on industry practice.
  • For quantities under 10 pieces, the acceptable variation is ±1 piece.
  • Many FMHV series items are made-to-order and are non-returnable.
  • Saws thinner than .0100″ (0.254 mm) are considered specials and may not be returned.

9. Returns & cancellations

No merchandise may be returned without prior authorization; a Return Authorization (RMA) number is required. Merchandise must be returned within 30 days of the shipment date or returns will not be accepted for credit.

  • Only standard catalog tools that are unused, undamaged, and within RobbJack’s annual usage limits are eligible for return.
  • All returns must be in original packaging and include a copy of the invoice and packing slip.
  • A 15% restocking charge applies to all merchandise returned for credit.
  • Special, made-to-order, and modified tools (including many FMHV items and saws thinner than .0100″) are non-returnable.

10. Limited warranty

RobbJack tools are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship. This warranty does not cover normal wear; misuse or improper application; operation outside recommended cutting parameters; or damage resulting from improper toolholding, fixturing, or machine setup.

RobbJack’s sole obligation under this warranty is limited to replacement of the tool or issuing credit, at our discretion. Tools found to be defective will be replaced or credited at RobbJack’s discretion. RobbJack is not responsible for labor charges, machining costs, production delays, or consequential damages, and cannot be held responsible for incorrect parts produced using our products due to mislabeling, customer misuse, incorrect tool setup, or defect.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

Except for the limited warranty above, all products, and the Site and all data, tools, and content on it, are provided “as is.” NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, APPLY.

12. Limitation of liability

RobbJack’s liability is limited to the purchase price of the tools supplied. RobbJack shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost production, lost profits, machine downtime, labor or programming costs, or scrap parts. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

13. Intellectual property

RobbJack and Crystallume names, logos, tool designs, drawings, CAD models, photographs, and all Site content are the property of RobbJack Corporation and its brands and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without our prior written permission.

14. Third-party trademarks & cross-reference

Third-party brand names, tool numbers, and trademarks referenced on the Site — including any entered into or returned by the competitor cross-reference tool — are the property of their respective owners. They are used only for identification and compatibility-reference purposes. Their use does not imply any affiliation with, endorsement by, or sponsorship by those owners, and cross-reference results are suggestions only — verify suitability for your application.

15. Communications & marketing

When you submit a form, request recommendations, or use the AI advisor, you agree that RobbJack and its authorized distributors and representatives may contact you — by email or phone — about your inquiry and with related product, marketing, and sales-support information. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

16. Governing law

These Terms and any sale are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute is the state or federal courts located in Placer County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

17. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect and how we use it.
