The CPCD-203 is a 2-flute PCD-tipped router with a 118 degree drill point for trimming composites. It plunges into the part without blowing out the back side, and produces no delamination, no uncut fibers, and no fiber pull-out. The tool can be re-sharpened and has demonstrated over 13,000 linear inches in aircraft CFRP material. A new PCD grade and geometries are specifically designed for CFRP materials.
