• 2 flute (FMHV-201–205) and 3 flute (FMHV-301–305), 37° helix, with Feather Blend, necked reach, Mirror Edge, and thru-coolant holes
• Built for ultra-high velocity: guide speeds & feeds are based on 175-horsepower / 130-kilowatt machines with short stickout — 'these tools can max out all machines made today. Adjust speeds and feeds to the machine and application… Be careful!'
• Run at Max Tap Tested RPM (or Max RPM) with chip loads from .002–.004 (1/4") up to .008–.015 (1") per tooth, at depths from .100" up to .900" — slot or profile, but stay away from 50% radial step-over
• Four reach lengths per diameter, short to extra-long (e.g. 1/4": 3/4", 1-1/16", 1-1/2"… on 2"–3" OALs); other reach lengths available upon request
• Inch sizes 1/4"–1"; metric MFMHV line runs 6–25 mm with 2 and 3 cutting-edge versions in the same tables
• Corner options: square end, radii of .03", .06", .09" (metric 0.5/1/2 mm), and ball end (-BN)
• Every geometry in four builds: uncoated, DLC, thru-coolant (-TC), and thru-coolant DLC
• The 3-flute FMHV features the guide's ALL-NEW balanced end design — marked 'CANNOT PLUNGE', so enter with helical interpolation or ramping
