Stub-length Tuffy grade square end mills in 2, 3, and 4 flute — short, rigid general-purpose cutters offered in five coating options.
- Square end stub-length Tuffy grade carbide in three flute counts: TS-201 (2 flute), TS-301 (3 flute), TS-401 (4 flute), all with 30° helix
- Stub flute lengths for rigidity — e.g. 1/4" diameter carries only a 1/2" flute length on a 2" OAL
- Inch sizes 1/16"–3/4" (2 and 4 flute; 3 flute runs 1/16"–1/2"); metric MTS-401 4 flute covers 2–20 mm
- Five coating options across the line: Uncoated, TiN, TiCN, AlTiN, and Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) — ordered by suffix (-T, -C, -A, -DLC)
- 2 and 3 flute rated for slotting, side milling, and helical interpolation; 4 flute optimized for side milling
- Broad material range: aluminum, copper, titanium, magnesium, cast iron, steel, brass (plus wood on 2/3 flute)
- High-performance roughing, semi-finishing, and finishing — dry, wet, cold air, or spray mist

MTS-401 is the metric, 4 flute, stub-length, square-end Tuffy Grade carbide end mill version of the TS series, with a 30 degree helix. Offered in 2 mm through 20 mm cutting diameters, uncoated or with TiN, TiCN, AlTiN and DLC coatings.
