The TM Series is a 2-flute, 30 degree helix, AlTiN-coated solid carbide toroid (corner-radius) end mill for die/mold work in hardened materials. It is the best tool for helical bores or tight corners; for large open areas RobbJack recommends the HM/MHM Series instead. Available in extended-length styles A, B, and C with draft/blend angles and a range of corner radii. The best way to engage the material is by helical interpolation or entering from off the part, and climb milling is recommended for better finish and longer tool life. Special diameters, lengths, corner radii, draft angles, and necked shanks are available make-to-order, usually shipping within the next business day.
