  • Insert hardware: 3.5mm T15 screw (AIC-350-SCR) and T15 wrench (AIC-T15-WRCH)

AIC / INS High Shear & Polished Insert Face Mill

Indexable aluminum face mill with thru-tool coolant and polished inserts

The AIC is an insertable, high-shear and polished face mill for aluminum, with thru-tool coolant. Face mill bodies are offered in 1" to 4-1/2" cutting diameters with 1 to 5 flutes and shank diameters of 3/4", 1" and 1-1/4"; maximum ramp angles range from 8 degrees down to none on larger diameters. Bodies do not come with inserts; polished INS-AL inserts (uncoated or DLC coated) are purchased separately in corner radii from 0.01 to 0.12 plus a 0.015 x 45 degree chamfer. T15 insert screws and wrench are available.
