- Graphite speeds: soft 1000–2000 SFM, medium 750–1500 SFM, hard 500–1250 SFM; 1/2" roughing chipload 0.0100–0.0120 in soft graphite down to 0.0040–0.0060 finishing in hard graphite (pg 124)
- Standard tolerances: cutting dia +0.001/−0.001", shank h6, flute length ±0.060", OAL ±0.060"
- Related Lightning line (Crystallume 2019 catalog): threaded-tip end mills 3/8"–1" dia (threads T06/T08/T12/T15, square or ball) compatible with Ingersoll tool holders, plus P820 deep-cavity and extended-shank graphite end mills

RobbJack's diamond-coated 1/2" Replaceable Tip End Mill is intended to be held in a heat-shrink holder and gives 4- and 6-flute productivity compared to the 2 flutes available from insert end mills of this size. It runs on a 1/4" h6 shank, and several square-end, corner-radius, and ball-end configurations are available from stock. Replaceable tips are used in slim holders for extended reach without extra costs, and the tool is targeted at graphite electrodes and composites.
