2 Flute Solid Carbide Downshear Spiral Router — clean top edges, no fuzzing or chip-out

  • 2 flute solid carbide downshear (down-cut) spiral router — flutes press the material DOWN, leaving a clean, splinter-free top surface on veneers, laminates, and thin sheets

WD1 Solid Carbide Downshear Routers

2 flute downshear spiral routers for wood, plastics and aluminum aircraft skins

The WD1 series is a 2 flute solid carbide downshear spiral router with a square end and 30 degree helix, offered in stub (WD1-201) and standard (WD1-203) lengths for wood and plastics CNC production. A 3 flute standard-length 10 degree helix version (WD1-310) is offered for routing aluminum aircraft skins, available with Mirror Edge for chatter reduction. DLC coating available.
