Solid Carbide Slitting Saws — from the RobbJack applications guide

RobbJack solid carbide slitting saws are ground to ANY thickness up to 0.250" in 0.0001" increments — the listing shows common price-break thicknesses, but every size in between is standard. Coarse-pitch teeth suit non-ferrous materials and fine-pitch suit ferrous; standard-concavity covers general use, while K-series double-concavity, alternate-tooth-chamfer versions handle deep cuts.

  • Any thickness up to 0.250" in 0.0001" increments — every size between the listed price breaks is standard
  • Minimum thickness by diameter: 0.002" (3/4"–1"), 0.004" (1¼"–2"), 0.006" (2¼"–4"); K-series 0.020"
  • Coarse pitch for non-ferrous, fine pitch for ferrous
  • Standard and K-series double-concavity / alternate-tooth-chamfer versions
  • Optional T-Process, hub, keyway and PVD coatings
  • Thru-coolant saw systems available on NAB / AB arbors with CF flanges

Mounts on AB and NAB saw arbors. Choose K-series double-concavity saws for slots deeper than 3× the saw thickness.

Thru-Coolant NAB Precision Saw Arbor

Slitting saws fail when coolant can't reach the cut — external flood gets blocked by fixturing and part geometry. The NAB arbor delivers coolant through the center and out through thru-coolant flanges onto both faces of every saw— equal pressure, right where the cut happens. Precision-ground to 25 millionths and grips the saw up to 15× more tightly — so it can't slip or spin on the arbor — for faster speeds & feeds, no walking, and far longer tool life.

Thru-coolant flanges are required. Add thru-coolant spacers to gang multiple saws. Solid carbide flanges last a lifetime and eliminate the burrs & scratches of steel.

Available in any thickness — 0.0236″ to 0.2362″

This saw is stocked in 10 standard thicknesses, but any thickness between 0.0236″ and 0.2362″ is a standard order, not a specialyou order in ten-thousandths of an inch and RobbJack grinds it, priced as the next thicker catalog size. Thickness is held to +.0002″/−.0000″, and the part number carries your exact thickness. Enter your size in the in-between thickness panel above to get the part number and price. Saws thinner than .010″ are specials and non-returnable; most thicknesses from .008″ to .250″ ship within about 48 hours.
