PCD Tipped 135/20 8 Facet Drill 0.0980-in Dia, 1.5-in OAL

The 135°/20° 8 faceted split point geometry is the best all around geometry for most of the composite materials tested. It is RobbJack’s first choice when we drill in carbon fiber materials in our in-house lab. The unique geometry drills and reams the hole in a one shot process eliminating any multiple step solutions. The amazing performance from the PCD-13520 tool extends tool life and holds hole size without delamination or uncut fibers much longer than other drills. The PCD-13520 series has a very sharp edge that is beneficial in many composite applications with a tool life of up to 50 times longer than carbide it is an excellent choice.
